They asked for a website. We gave them a brand to grow into.

Education Evolution Academy is a small independent school in Norwood, Johannesburg, built for learners who need more than a big classroom can give. The result is a brand, a website and a steady stream of parents coming through the digital door.

01 · THE BRIEF

“We just need a website.”

The school was referred to us. The ask was simple: a monthly retainer and a website.

The more time we spent with the school, the more we saw what the school could be online. Parents searching for a school like this need to understand, quickly, why it is different. That takes a presence that makes sense to them, not just pages.

1

A websiteSomewhere for parents to find the school

2

A brand that fits the schoolA new logo and a small design system parents remember

3

A message parents understandSmall classes and real support, said plainly

4

A digital front doorApplications, tour bookings and school documents in one place

02 · UNDERSTANDING THE SCHOOL

Small classes. Big futures.

Education Evolution caters for learners who have run into learning barriers. Classes are capped at ten learners per grade, so every child is seen, supported and challenged, with therapists and specialists working alongside the teachers.

That is the whole story a parent needs to hear. Everything we built had to say it clearly.

Ten learners. Every one of them known by name.10
03 · THE REBRAND

A logo with a brain and a leaf.

We suggested starting with the logo. The new mark pairs a brain with a growing leaf, and sits on a gradient that runs from blue through to green.

Around it we built a small design system: colours, Montserrat for headings, Lato for reading, and logo versions for every background. The school now uses it everywhere, from letterheads and newsletters to social posts and report cards.

04 · THE WEBSITE

A website that does the admin.

Then we built the website from scratch in the new brand. Admissions, academics, support and well-being, school times, term dates, and every policy a parent asks for, all in one place.

Parents can book a school tour and start an application without picking up the phone. Try it.

05 · WHAT CHANGED

Parents walk through the digital door.

We have been with the school for more than a year. In that time the website has become how new families arrive: tour bookings come in regularly, parents come to see the premises and talk about their children, and applications arrive through the site.

20+applications through the website
15+school tours booked online
45%more discoverable on Google, measured in Google Search Console
It is never about the budget. It is about taking what is there and really supercharging it.
